PeaceTalk emerged from lived experience and a deep belief that things could be better.
PeaceTalk was created by Laura — an architect with a degree in environmental science, lifelong early adopter, and someone who grew up near Silicon Valley believing technology should make life better. She's lived in Germany for over 20 years, navigating relationships, raising kids, and communicating across languages and cultures every single day.
The idea for PeaceTalk started out of the need for structure in difficult coparenting communication. But it quickly became about something bigger: giving people real agency over their digital lives. Not feeling thrown around by platforms that were never designed for the complexity of real relationships.
Then she realized that AI could provide the scaffold — not to replace human communication, but to support it. She built PeaceTalk because no tool like it existed — and because digital communication rewards the loudest voice in the room. When one person escalates and the other tries to stay respectful, the respectful voice gets drowned out. She wanted to even the playing field.
